RETENTION/TURNOVER/MARKETING - Resident Vacating on Short Notice

           We have received your request for permission to vacate the above address without giving proper notice. Under normal circumstances, and as stated in your rental agreement, you are requested to give a minimum 30 day written notice prior to the date you desire to move out in order to receive your security deposit back.

           We understand that sometimes circumstances arise that you are unable to plan for. The reason 30 day notices are required is to give both parties advance notice to plan for the change.  In our case, the notice gives us enough time to find another tenant to take your place.  Without sufficient time we may have days go by with a vacant dwelling and loss of income which is why your security deposit is not refunded. However, if you assist us by recommending a friend or co-worker to take over the dwelling as soon as you move out we do not lose rental income and we can, therefore, return your deposit to you, minus a small transfer fee of only $50.          

                    We will also do all we can to get the place re-rented promptly.  If we do so prior to you moving we will return your deposit to you minus the transfer fee plus advertising costs we incurred.  This will still provide you with a return of part of your deposit that I'm sure will be helpful to you, wherever you are going.

Download and Edit Instructions - (Easy Peasy)
1. Click the blue link in the Download Box above, a window will open
2. Select "Save File" and click OK
3. Go to your Downloads folder, select the file for your form
4. Once the forms Opens, go to "File" Menu and select "Save"
5. After saving Form in original format, you can edit as needed, if needed.
6. To save edits, go to "File" Menu & select "Save As" to title the new Form.
